I haven't explored all the new Sound ID Reference options yet, but I can already see that there are upgrades for various situations, such as calibrating for a car situation with a dedicated EQ. I also like the fact that it works in association with certain products, such as the Adams A7V speakers. I've also gone from 50ms latency to 0.0ms. it's crazy!

Great update, love the post correction eq and the cpu performance/ latency got so much better since it’s m1 native now. Thumbs up!

Having re-calibrated my studio following the upgrade, it changed a few settings and the sound is as clear and defined as I think it can be.

The only reason I upgraded is because you stopped support for reference 4 just as apple silicone was announced and 4 stopped working entirely on Sonoma. Disappointed.

Hello Patrick, I hope you are doing great! Unfortunately, Reference 4 is not supported natively for M-series devices. To run Reference 4 the Rosetta environment is required. However, SoundID Reference, the successor to Reference 4, is natively supported. I hope this helps! If there are any additional questions, please reach out to our support center. We'll be happy to help!

It really helps and improves my mixing. And i am starting to learn the mastering game so it is crucial for me to learn about the frequency response of my speakers and room. Good product.
