It is very interesting to see in the form of data what kind of characteristics your own headphones or monitoring systems have. The sound is already much clearer and my mixes now sound a bit tidier on all monitoring systems. The simulation of different scenarios such as car or laptop speakers also help enormously. The setup also went well, but I had a small problem. I have the KRK Rokit6 monitors with a subwoofer. The signal first goes into the subwoofer and the subwoofer then distributes it to the speakers. I have seen it in many home studios like that. However, SoundID did not give the opportunity to measure this system. 2.1. Systems can only be measured if the subwoofer is controlled alone. Not that bad, but I don't know if my system is measured correctly or not and neither the SoundID website nor YouTube gives any information about it. I hope that comes soon with an update. But other than that, it's very helpful.

Hello, Thank you for the review! I am glad that the software is making a change. Keep in mind that the multichannel license, as the name implies, is exclusive to multichannel such as 2.1 and up to 9.1.6. The regular Speakers and Headphones license supports 2.0 setups but a subwoofer can be measured if daisy chained. We do have a dedicated FAQ article available at our Support center on how to measure a 2.0 stereo setup with a subwoofer. If you still have any additional questions, please reach out to us! We'll be happy to help! https://www.sonarworks.com/support/

SoundID Reference has completely solved the problems I've had mixing in my room. I'm making quicker decisions now and when I go to test the mix in my car it sounds just the way I wanted.

The only minor complaint I have against the Education License is that it can only be activated on 1 computer.

I had no idea I needed SoundID Reference until I tried it! It leaves the guess-work out of mixing in different rooms or speaker set-ups.
