“I bought sound reference with the mic and I love it. My fellow Engineer was so impressed he's getting the same setup. Really gives me insight into the room, very pleased!!”
“before I talk about quality, the software interface and usability are extremely easy to use, very intuitive and easy to understand. both speaker measurement and correction software.
As for quality, it delivers great quality. and it has changed the way i work and listen to mixes. can't recommend it enough to my fellow engineers and musicians”
“The product is pretty good, even if 100% of correction make a pretty agressive balance in the high frequencies. For me 50% is a good compromise, in my opinion not a good idea to ask this kind of system more of a few db of compensation.
I don't think I will use it all the time, but more like a secondary pair of speakers in the final steps of mixing & mastering.
So, not a real game changer which could transform water in wine, if you have bad speakers in a non treated room, I don't think it will help. Just an interesting option to A/B with decent speakers in an already controlled room.”
“Was very easy to figure everything out and do measurements. The interface is intuitive and tutorials are helpful. I am very happy with the corrective EQ that Sonarworks applied to my speakers. Everything sounds flat I am happy)”
“Hi, this product works great as a plugin to help factor out audio differences from different speakers or headphones. I tested it with my Yamaha monitors and a few headphones, and it had built-in profiles for each. The calibration process for different speakers was straightforward in the software and was easy to follow. I did experience the desktop app crashing, and alternately not closing on Mac. Also, there is some difficulty in setting it up such that when it takes over the sound output, but doesn't route it to the right device (especially outside of music applications like video calls), it's a tad annoying. Other than those details, great product.”
