“I was a bit skeptical about audio calibration at first, but I have to admit that SoundID literally changed my life. I imagine it doesn’t work for everyone since your room needs to sound at least somewhat decent. Personally, I had already done some basic acoustic treatment, and that was enough for Sonarworks to truly elevate my home studio!
My clients have been approving V1 mixes, and the translation is incredible! Of course, you still need to fine-tune your mix/master, but I no longer get the surprises I used to. I highly recommend SoundID!
As for headphone calibration, it works amazingly well—even with something as basic as Sony MDREX15LP earbuds, it’s impressive! That said, I personally prefer calibrating my speakers (just a matter of personal taste). I'm using Sound Id through UAD Apollo Twin X and it's amazing”
