When it works, SoundID Reference is great! It improved the response of my large (rather empty) room. In particular it smoothed out a peak around 100Hz and it also brought up the high ends where my studio monitors started to roll off. That said, the software application is still very buggy. I am on Windows 10 and use an RME Babyface. I like the Windows APO insert but it often goofs up when I switch applications, switch channels on my device, or try to change buffer length / whatever settings. I really hope these get worked out in the near future.

Installing SoundID and using it was straightforward. The correction to my room that Sonarworks is a big leap forward in having better mixes that translate well everywhere. I like the option to apply the correction as a plugin (in my DAW) and also as a virtual output so I can use it for anything that can be played on my PC!

Since I got it - my life was split into "before" and "after". After having a Sonarworks calibration - I've finally achieved the level of quality that I've always dreamed of. If I hadn't tried Sonarworks - I would probably still struggle to achieve the results I've craved for. My mixes became so much better in every aspect. I'm, very thankful to you, people.

Love this software. For years I've struggled with the sound of my room. For many years I used the DBX DriveRack Studio. It helped but did not give me the level of detail as SoundID. I've spent decades in the studio and playing in bands so one could say hearing my hearing has some (ahem) deficiencies. That being said, the difference in clarity was startling. Support, before and after, has been great as well.

Good product, wanted to try the demo/trial but the site kept looping me back to buy the product, that’s not cool. Anyway, it’s improved my sound. Thanks.

I was very surprised to find that SoundID corrected the acoustics of my studio in such a way that I found was very pleasing to the ears. I also found the software to be stable and very easy to understand (including the user interface). I was actually overwhelmed at how tight the sound sounds in the studio post SoundID. It really fixed the main frequency issue.
