Great product overall. It works well and is pretty easy to use. I'd recommend having an actual manual for both sound ID reference and its room profiling software. It's also a bit over priced.

Although it had improved the overall sound in my room, my workflow had become a little irritating when i use the SW plugin with my DAW as it changes the overall level of mixes when its on so i need to A/B it all the time so i can understand the peaks and overall level. The 2nd thing - It does effect my cpu consumig and created artifacts when recording and playback so i had to increase my buffer size to 256 (from 128 which am used to) and that results in a recording delay.

What can I else say? Easy and functional at reasonable price, and the license covers three computers.

I have a pair of focal twin B speakers. I paid a lot of money for them and they are pretty dam good. Problem was that I actually never heard them because my room was so bad. When I did my solar works calibration I heard my speakers for the first time. I almost cried. You can also calibrate your headphones so you get the absolute flattest response from them. Incredible. You even get a list of iconic reference speakers that you can listen through as well. A great touch when you’re mixing and mastering

As I stated earlier, I was a bit hesitant about purchasing due to the fact that I didn't know if it would greatly improve my studio sound quality. Boy I was wrong. The room I currently produce music in is a poorly treated, tall ceilinged, HORRIBLE place for accurate sound playback. I've produced music in that room for almost 6 years so my ears a very trained to know how music sounds in that room. Only after using SoundID Reference for Speakers & Headphones, did I realize how much i've been lied to for those six years. At first, I thought it didn't work. The sound coming from my speakers and sub was completly different than I've heard it previously. It was level, balanced, clear. My horrible room which reflected a horrible sound suddenly became clear. Now, I wasn't fully convinced. Only once l I began working on a new song did I finally notice the incredible improvements it made to my production workflow. Problems that I've previously never been able to work around had disapeared. This product 100% improved my sound quality and abilty to hear a balanced mix. I would reccommend this product ten fold.

It's a bit longer than expected to get set up, but soooo worth it. And the onscreen instructions are intuitive and simple to follow. Does what's advertised, and provides me more confidence when mixing.

when playing songs on apple music sometimes the music is a little crash, and when using logic pro to record sound and guitar, the guitar sound becomes delayed when using the soundID reference, so I have to change the input again. I hope in the next update this can be fixed. Thank you…..
