“The Sonos beam is a great little sound bar especially when paired with the Sonos sub. One thing I've discovered though is that if you have multiple Sonos speakers in one room (we have a pair of Ones for music and now a beam for the TV) the sub will only work with one. It's either associated with the Beam or the Ones and thus will only play with that source. You can manually add the sub to which ever speakers you're using each time but this is a faff and all your truplay tuning is lost! I doubt it would be difficult for Sonos to sort this out. Not sure why they haven't!? Anyway back to the review...the beam is excellent!”

“Very happy, lovely sound and plenty of bass for a small living room. The sound bar is let down by my old TV meaning I can’t fully appreciate its quality, but even watching films with it using an optical connection it sounds great. Very happy and looking in the future to upgrade the TV and to get some surround speakers. Alexa integration is good and Amazon music sounds great, it is a bit of a pain controlling Amazon music through the Sonos app but it’s workable.”

“Having had a Sonos 5 speaker bought for my birthday and wishing to get the best from it I looked at its reviews on You Tube and there, among the many available, came across those from Smart Home Sounds which were clear, informative, very professionally produced and, for my purposes, better than the other offerings. As a result I was made aware of the Beam Soundbar and its benefits to those experiencing difficulties with hearing loss through its clarification of the human voice. I contacted Smart home Sounds to make enquiries and was given precise and helpful assistance by Amelia and consequently ordered one. The company was meticulous in its concern to satisfy the customer, making sure that every stage of the process was clearly communicated from order to delivery. The Beam Soundbar was delivered next day! It was extremely easy to set up, taking only a few minutes and made a very significant improvement to the television sound - so much so, that having to have subtitles on is now a thing of the past! One other surprise which I hadn’t anticipated was that the two items, the 5 speaker and the Beam Soundbar can be synchronised and I now have a very good HiFi setup in my living room. I can thoroughly recommend Smart Home Sounds based on my experience dealing with them and, of course, their offer of 6 years warranty on the equipment they provide is a significant factor in promoting confidence in them.”
