Great sound bar, easy to set up. Expensive, but well worth it. If you speak to them on the phone they, are very polite and helpful. Would definitely, deal with this company again. Johngeorge1.

A nicely engineered unit, that I use primarily with my LG TV, with a great sound. Bass is OK but if you need more then add a subwoofer. Separate rear speakers can be also be added for a fuller surround sound. The Beam was easy to setup with just 2 cables; one for the mains supply and an HDMI one for the TV. Connect to the HDMI/ARC socket on your TV if you have one. It works well with Alexa but Alexa’s volume cannot be adjusted differently to that for the TV (or not that I can find after researching online). Not an issue for me, though The mandatory app (mine is via my iPhone) works well for setting up and controlling functions like the TV volume, the equaliser and scanning the room etc to get best from the unit Overall, I’m very pleased with the sound from the Beam and am considering adding 2 rear speakers to improve the experience Highly recommended and excellent follow-up service from both Sonos and Smart Home Sounds

Phone a Friend I have a new LG OLED TV, a Sony Experia L4 phone (3 years old) and Virgin Media Broadband. I could not get the Beam to connect to the WiFi & kept getting a message to 'try another device' So I phoned a friend who is a software engineer and has an i-phone. He also struggled to get the Bean to connect even using an ethernet cable. Was this the broadband? It is fair to say that you cannot set one of these up properly unless you have an IOS device' so best not to try. The performance so far is average. I do not use Blu-Ray DVD or watch many blockbuster movies. Perhaps it is good with them but for your average general use it is an expensive option. It is better than the TV speakers but not earth-shattering. When I compare the music quality to the Wharfdale speakers on my HiFi the Beam is rather dull. So the conclusion is obvious - if you want great sound you need to go for big speakers, not a sound bar.

I purchased the Sonos Beam Gen 2 based on a recommendation from a friend, and I'm so glad I did! As someone who had never used a soundbar before, I was blown away by the improvement in sound quality and the enhanced viewing experience. I also appreciate the ability to play music through the soundbar as well. The Sonos Beam Gen 2 is definitely an excellent soundbar that offers exceptional sound quality and features. While it may be a bit more expensive than other options on the market, I believe it's worth the investment for anyone who wants a top-of-the-line listening experience.

Tried Bose Tv Speaker - retuned it. Next it was Sony HT-X8000 - again not very happy returned it. Finally ordered this. Very happy with the setup, sound output and over all experience including connecting through Apple Airplay. No complaints
