The Sonos Beam 2 has been an excellent fit with our 42" LG Oled TV. So many soundbars are too big for this size of TV but the Beam gives excellent sound out of a compact and stylish box. The app also works well and it's easy to set up your audio streaming services. Had the in-laws over on Christmas day and was able to play music in the background via Airplay which gave excellent clarity to the sound even at low volume. Also want to praise Tom and September at SHS. Tom advised me to hold off ordering for a week as they were expecting sale prices (saved £100) and when the package went AWOL with DPD in the Christmas rush, they were great at responding and chasing the package through their contacts. Excellent service all round!

Had a sonos one stereo setup for a while and have now added the beam gen2 and paired all together for a surround set up. Brilliant improvement to the room, huge difference to watch films and sport!

Wow! My new Beam is much smaller than I'd expected but it sounds brilliant! My only complaint is that my LG TV no longer displays a sound level number when the volume is adjusted (this being supplied by the Beam). This is a bit annoying!

I decided to purchase through SHS because of the awesome social media content, thorough product reviews and fun competitions! Always great to support companies such as this one. And by the way, the team are fantastic and very quick to respond to queries.

Great system Great sounding speaker, works well with my two sonos ones. Had to fiddle with tv and virgin box settings to stop anoying lip sync issue, but it works fine now. App lets you adjust the volume and everything else and works really well. Music from Spotify sounded great with the two ones but with the addition of the beam it now sounds even better. The only annoying thing is the soundbar is quite tall and protrudes over the bottom of the tv, it’s not too noticeable but just check the height of your tv before purchasing. This might be fixed by adding something under the feet of your tv.

Decide to Purchase Beam 2 to use with new LG OLED TV, which has eARC HDMI so facilitates Dolby Atmos. The connection therefore was quite simple. Had a lot of trouble pairing Beam with iPhone. In the end was advised by Smart Home Sounds to do factory reset which then paired OK. Sound performance of Beam is OK but not terrific - not great surround sound or Atmos - maybe it's too small for room -6m X 5m X 2.7 m. Anyway I could not fit larger Sonos ARC model because too wide for TV stand. Maybe addition of Mini sub would help- but it's way too expensive. Speech enhancement is very effective on Beam. I also have TV connected via optical to Meridian 218 and Meridian active speakers for music use. Switching between the Beam and optical connection is not possible and requires the Beam to be depowered to allow optical conection from TV to function, because otherwise it defaults back to HDMI. I found work-around but its not very convenient. Overall Beam2 provides good sound but could be a lot better

Sounds nice, works really well with the app. Currently got it in a cabinet and find it a bit bass heavy not sure how it will sound when wall mounted but really impressed with it so far

As a previous owner of the Beam Gen 1 (and 2x One's as rears) I was looking to get the ARC as an upgrade but after watching some video reviews I was on the fence as to whether the jump from Beam gen 1 to gen 2 would be worth it, and then whether the jump to the ARC for the additional £500 could be justified. As SMS offer a 30 day money back guarantee I thought I would go for the Beam gen 2 to try it at home instead of my gen 1. It's amazing! The sound is much more round, dynamic and has a lot more bass! the rears are definitely more reactive and the addition of Dolby Digital Plus and Atmos is noticeable over the gen 1 version. The vocals are also much clearer. I'd say that a Gen 2 with surrounds is more than enough for most rooms, I wouldn't dream of adding a sub! I'd say our front room is around 6m x 5m and the Bass is on 6/10, and that is more than enough. this is a five-star product- absolutely love it!
