Great watch for distances and stats. Occasionally misses shots but easily corrected when editing score. Watch needs a cover screen if used in rain and tags do work lose easily. Customer service is best I’ve come across.

Mostly happy with my watch. Only issue causing problems is the failure to identify the club being used. I always take at least 2 practice swings and hold the handle as recommended but have to hold the tag over the watch to ensure the club is recorded.

I played about 85 rounds this year with the X5 Watch. Missed very few shots, mostly when I chunked a chip and re-hit within a few yards. It would treat those like a single shot. It is so nice to see the strokes gained analysis down to each shot. The edit feature on the dashboard is easy to use. A request for another feature on the dashboard would be to have a summary report that would show the number of birdies, pars, etc for a given hole over a period of time. Again, very pleased with the watch in all ways!

I have used all the previous versions and am extremely happy with the X5. I have had no technical issues and found the transition to the X5 to be very manageable. Other than the putting on the greens I have found almost no editing has been required. Am enjoying the new features offered by the X5, with the exception only of the Lock function which I found a bit cumbersome and switched off.

Good product but like so many others I find it very hard and annoying to connect to a phone. I have had a number of shotscope products and comfortable using them but this is the worst.

Bought the GPS immediately due to the sale price reserved to the owners of the V3. The first issues were fixed by the firmware updates, a process that was the same for the V3. Unfortunately, an issue caused the substitution under warranty, like my first V3. Sure it is an improvement compared to the V3. Now the watch is stable and useful, but it seems that the bluetooth connection is not properly working, I need to reset the connection several times. My opinion is that the battery seems not to support the peak effort of the connection, I always need to recharge the watch and only this seems to make the process working. I appreciate the putting and score automatic count, the aspect of a stilish watch, and the pedometer function. I would be more satisfied whether these issues with the app connection will be fixed. I suggest the watch for those golfers that prefer to wear a watch instead of being handling their smartphones on the course, an easier and faster way to play. The ratio costs/functions is really good and the support team is absolutely the top.

This is a comparison to older brother V3, which in itself was an exponential improvement on the V2. Looks superb and delivers greater functionality to V3 but with just 2 buttons, is more fiddly and too frustrating in realtime situations on the course. Touch screen is all but useless in the rain or light drizzle. Editing and stats zone post match is rich in features but there is a conflict between distance measuring and approach performance when taking full shots that do not attack the green. You can really only have one but not the other, which necessitates the use of provisional shot for clubs that are perhaps only ever used to chew up distance rather than approach the green when managing course play. One-off fee and no subscription is excellent. Putting stats are rather misleading given their reliance on GPS signal that itself has a tolerance of +/- 2m minimum.

+ afstand ondersteuning + connectie met clubs + statistieken + design - batterijduur te kort - duurt erg lang voordat gps werkt
