“I really like my X5. It was simple to set up and is clear and easy to use on the course. i would recommend using the screen lock when playing as the face is very sensitive to the touch”

“Seen some good reviews about the X5 watch but I am really disappointed with it. The watch cannot find the GPS tags in my club and will not sync, I also cannot sync the phone with my watch and lastly the watch is difficult to use and the battery is terrible, would not recommend this product”

“I upgraded from the V5 to X5 when it came out and it was excellent, shot tracking was handy but as time went on I had to ensure the watch stayed off until I was ready to play or it would run out of charge so support worked through improving it to no avail so sent me a new watch which has no issues and now the watch still has over 50% battery left after 18 holes. Support are quick and knowledgable and seem to just want happy customers, what a novel idea. Great watch, superb company to deal with.”

“I got into shot scope while reading the book The Four Foundations of Golf and he emphasizes knowing your data. After doing some research I settled on the X5. It is easy to use and having access to data shortly after a round really helps me know where my current weaknesses are and I can then focus my practice time. Look I am 46 and I love the game of golf. I just want to continue to get better and fall deeper in love with the game. I am a 12 looking to be a 7 handicap by the start of next winter.”

“This is an upgrade from a previous watch which I didn’t get on too well with. The new X5 is better and I like the colour and more detail on hazards. It takes a bit of time to get into the mind set of using it. Our course is being redesigned (Birkdale) and I won’t get the full benefit until the new course is mapped. With links golf many players use the putter from some distance off the greens and it can struggle with this part of the game. Currently no spare putter sensors available to purchase. On the whole it is a good bit of kit and I’m looking forward to seeing it become more and more useful as I build up shot data”

“I was offered the X5 as an upgraded replacement for my V3. Nicer looking watch with great functionality. Am looking forward to keeping a track of my performance using the club tags.”

“I haven't had it long and have not learned all of its features yet. I have used the metrics tags before with my H5 and if the new tags are better than I expect them to be great. I am hoping there is a way to turn off the screen lock as that is the only real peave. Screen is bright and clear dx is available for all the hazards, greens FMB and lay ups. I will personally be switching to a breathable watchband but the one provided has many slots for adjustment and can be made snug without being tight. I made the right choice with this smart watch.”
