“I have found the software of both the X5 and Android phone software to be inconsistent to say the least. I have updated a number of times but have found a number of issues, including the current one where I cannot complete an edit.”

“I have had multiple shotscope products, started with the V2 and upgraded to the V3 when it came out and then pre ordered the X5 when it was announced because I loved my V3 and thought the company was great to deal with. Having been using my X5 over the summer season I have been frustrated by the step backwards in quality of the tags that go into the grips. Having been a user of the products for approximately 4 years and never having an issue with the tags before I have had two of the tags snap completely, one was at impact and the sensor caught me in the eye. The other broke in the bag during a round. There are multiple others that have hairline cracks in them and after reaching out to shotscope they admitted they knew the tags weren’t as good and replaced the broken one with an older one and haven’t bothered to replace the rest that are cracked for me. Feel very let down by them with this after being such a good product in previous versions.”

“The X5 GPS watch now(Oct 2023) is where it should have been when it was first released. The early adopters were beta testers which is fine if people had been told that. However, the price the early usesr got the watch for was very good. It now delivers what it promised. There are still a few bugs there which will get ironed out over the next few months but it is a very good GPS watch. There are some features that would be good to have on it, as per a lot of user requests, and again I can see those being introduced.”

“Being a shotscope user since V2 I have experienced the evolution of the product. The X5 has it all. I love the possibility of viewing the scorecard during the round. I also love to have the possibility of seeing the distance of the last shot. The only thing I don't like is that each shotscope watch uses a specific cable to charge. I hope in the future you make it standard :)”

“I had the V3 watch for a few years and upgraded to the X5. After a few glitches, I got the updated software to install and I have been very happy with all the new services added on. I love the changes in ability to lock and unlock the watch and the 3D views of the courses are excellent.”
