“Watch was released without sufficient testing. Touch screen is extremely difficult to use.Simple options such as end round occasionally cannot be selected. Reported on many occasions but only ever receive the same feedback asking for information. I provide the information and hear no more. Slight improvements with each firmware upgrade. Asked if I could have a replacement if no one else was experiencing same issues but got no reply. Cannot even change the following questions. Is this for real?”

“I've been using a Shotscope watch for a number of years and find the stats it provides invaluable. However, the new X5 doesn't look like it will last very long as the back is discolored and it looks like the plastic is etched by sweat.”

“First impression, looks very fitbitish, plastic. Very light on the wrist. I wish the face was larger 40mm for a man, would be nice to be wearable outside of the course but I realize those asks are a different price bracket. Usability is fantastic. It finds the courses relatively quickly. First few uses took a lot of editing the shots on the app after the fact because of how I was using it. When going up to your ball, don't register your new club untill you're at the wall so you get accurate measurements if shot lengths. I find myself carrying my new club in my right hand so it doesnt register at the wrong spot. Editing software way better on a laptop but usable on mobile. Great to review tour game can learn a lot of where you made mistakes and had success.”

“After some initial glitches the X5 works great. I mainly want the club tracking info, but it is nice to have yardages to water and bunkers when needed. I find the yardages accurate when compared to my other gps or to range finders that my golf buddies use. Support is very good and have used them to correct errors found on my home course of tee boxes hidden by trees.”

“The X5 is my 3rd upgrade. I continue to have major issues with the club chips communicating with the watch which requires a lot of editing after the round. This has been an issue from the start. Until this is fixed I can no longer recommend your GPS watch.”
