“I was a very satisfied user of the V3 and was really looking forward to the X5 GPS Watch. The watch looks stylish and is a pleasure to wear off the golf course. As with any new product, there were a few initial difficulties with this watch, but Shot Scope works very hard on the product and responds to issues in a very timely manner. I wouldn't want to be without the watch and the shot tracking is very stable. The dashboard is very good and it is fun to analyze the rounds played in more detail. Anyone who is concerned with stroke gains and statistics on their game will love Shot Scope.”

“I would like to give the X5 a better rating as it has improved with recent updates. But it still misses shots and can be pretty much unusable in the rain. Once rounds are uploaded for editing the positioning of shots taken is questionable which puts a question mark over all the other performance stats.”

“On my rounds I normally have to edit 10-15 shots. Some are my fault I’m sure but I need to keep a separate scorecard to keep my shots for editing. The support crew are very helpful but still I need to edit way too much.”

“I bought the X5 soon after launch, as was already a V3 owner. A few issues at the beginning, but since a couple of major firmware updates, the X5 is more reliable and stable now. The added features are a big improvement to the original setup. My only issue at the moment is the charging lead, the plug/socket arrangement on the back of the watch is a little temperamental, not a positive connection. Thought they could have a better connector.”

“Yes, there were teething problems when it first launched, but, ShotScope's drive to get things 100% is absolutely brilliant. Their support team is first class, and their response to questions or issues is very fast and conclusive. The watch itself is great, I love it. Yardages are accurate, recording of my scores is terrific, and the ability to see your over-par situation at a glance at any hole is really helpful. When I get home, the amount of stats I can study on my dashboard is bewildering! Very impressive product, WAY cheaper than its competition. Terrific.”
