“I tried an earlier iteration of this watch and gave up because it just didn't record enough of my shots, I can't spend an hour after each round editing and tying to remember each shot played. So I ordered the V5 hoping that this obvious drawback had been rectified. Sadly not. I'm still missing around ten shots a round and although you can now specify how many shots you've played after each hole you can't accept that score afterwards as your round score you have to edit the score the watch had guessed, which is invariably wrong. All still very frustrating for me and I'm considering returning it.”

“I've played a couple of rounds and love the v5 and tag system. It doesn't pick up every shot, but I never expected it to, however it does capture most. The putting is going to take time to get used to, and is where it loses most of my shots, although i suspect i just need to adapt as well. My biggest issue is that I habitually walk away without doing the pin mark bit. Something I just need to make a habit”

“The watch preforms well very comfortable and easy to use ,accurately tracking position on the course and the club being used great features for hazards,and scoring too. Only issue I have found is the tags are a little thicker in size than V3 version and have a tendency to creep out /unscrew themselves which could lead to a loss of tags.”

“I purchased the V5 in March but l am only able to access the GPS to play the game it is very complicated,granted l am 75 years old but I have the garmin 11 and it is easier but not accurate l have looked at you tube but can only find the basics which I am using badly!!”

“Played 6 games and now using all the fabulous features in the watch - great value for a button GPS watch. However a couple of gremlin attacks, prevented a 5 star rating. I frequently putt from the fairway and when finished on the hole the watch score fails to register the correct score (always one less shot than I took). The off the green putt is recorded when I correct any anomalies after the games but have to correct score discrepancy. Today the watch recorded the first 3 holes of the round then opened another round starting at hole 3 and completed the rest of the round - gremlins”

“I had the X5 watch but found the touch screen very fiddly to use. For me this is the perfect option with the functionality of the X5 but having buttons to navigate like on the previous watches. Very quick to pick up the course I’m playing and the battery life is better so 36 holes without a charge inbetween shouldn’t be an issue.”

“Got the watch on $70 off promotion. This is my first experience with a Shot Scope product. Played a handful of rounds and it’s been a great experience to this point. There’s a lot of features packed in a fairly small form factor.”

“Although not touch screen it does a very good job. Club sensors are easy to fit and they never miss a shot. Takes a few round but when conversant with the bottoms it is easy to navigate as the game proceeds. The post round feedback is the best I have experienced. Super value for money”
