“Quick review after one use. I owned the G6 Prior "GPS and Score keeping only". I was able to snag this V5 watch on discount. It has the same 4 buttons and menu plus a few more choices due to its shot tracking feature. First...the club sensors...you can rename them to a club of your liking but they show up on the watch unchanged. Ex. If I have a mini driver and assign it to my 4i sensor when playing golf when I grab the Mini Diver the watch displays 4 Iron. Not a biggy cuz in the app it shows the mini driver and its stats correctly. Small thing but thought I would mention. They do offer extra sensors that can be assigned...but I ran out. Also, I am still getting the hang of collecting pin location and figuring out the putting stuff. It seems to work ok but I whish the online dashboard (and maybe it does but I am not using it correctly) would let you zoom way further in to see each separated shot more clearly. Some of the shot locations "drift" a little but thats a sat. GPS thing I would think ...so some of my Fairway shots show slightly in the rough. You can edit in the dashboard however after the round. All that seems negative but compared to what you get, data tracking, shot tracking, comparative analysis, club stats...its full of potential information to allow you to greatly improve your focus for your game. So example in my last round I clearly saw my second shots and approach shots were very bad and the driver and putter were decent. So in the week leading up to my next round I may apply some practice in those second shot areas. Helpful for sure. For the price I dont see how you can beat it. It looks good, battery is fine if not pretty darn good and the data it gives is great! The only caveat would be that you need to be careful to not slow the game play down fiddling with it while playing golf. Thats a ME thing but I should get better over time. Buy one! Its cool.”

“I have started using the V5 and have 4 rounds logged. I am impressed that the battery life is lasting on her than advertised, it is 3 rounds between charges. I use an iPhone app also because I like the course detail on the app, and the distances displayed are very very close. Doing the reviews/edits on the rounds the Shit Scope online app on my PC are quick and easy so no issues there and actually help with reflecting on the round after playing so I feel that this is a positive consequence of doing any minor edits. The most useful aspect of the V5 GPS watch and iron tracking is that you don’t have to make any edits realtime when you’re playing golf, I would have to change the club select on my iPhone app, if I was clubbing up or down based on real course conditions. I am looking forward to data analysis once I’ve racked up enough rounds to make that more representative. Definitely a useful tool. I bought an EX-DISPLAY kit which saved me a good bit of money. The EX-DISPLAY model I received had no signs of use.”

“Love the functions on the watch, buttons rather than a fiddly touch screen are way better. Looking forward to the insights from my recorded shots during each round. Only 3 uring winter at the moment so not enough. Like that you can choose to record round or just use GPS.”

“Bought an ex display watch due to just starting out again on my golf, watch arrived, well packaged and all components there, great condition, no scratches or marks, was easy to set up and use, would highly recommend display models if budget is tight, worth it when on the course”

“First, the Shot Scope system is awesome and there's no subscription or replacing batteries in the tags - they have no batteries! Secondly, I wasn't a golf watch guy but this watch is simple and it makes tracking the shots seemless. You put the watch on, start the round, and that's it. All you have to do after you finish puttingis press one button on the watch for how many putts you took (you press the button by the flag so it knows where the hole was). That's it. It automatically recongnizes your club before each shot. The watch is no cluttered like a garmin or apple watch. It gives you GPS distance, some hazard distances and a view of the entire hole. Pretty cool. I usually don't go into that menu. I simply look down and the main watch face is telling me GPS distance to front, middle and back of green. Simple. It also shows my score, the hole we're on and what club has paired with the watch for the next shot. It feels great on. Looks great and really, I don't even notice its there. Perfect product for a perfect system. An oh, by the way, it was only $150! C'mon!!”

“Not certain as to what exactly is happening as this V5 Ex Display GPS watch is not working as well as my original V3 GPS watch worked. Display is sometimes not showing or detecting the correct or current club being used. I have to tap the tag to the watch band in order to get the correct information. There are some nice up grades with this V5, I will continue using in order to see what works best.”
