“I’m new to the game of golf and started in January. The gear and equipment that is involved is very overwhelming and in my experience overpriced! The V5 performs well and is very easy to use once you get used to the interface(YouTube videos helped too!)The kicker is that there is NO NEED SUBSCRIPTION!!! ShotScope is truly trying to develop the sport of golf by making products for the everyday player at an affordable price. Can’t wait for an LM2 iteration with RF ID reader for club tracing/selection, watch data, and path/face tracking.”

“Almost excellent. 2 issues i have are as follows:- There is no buzz to remind you to put your hole score in. To measure shot length you need to request last shot before you play the shot (Once selected once I want it all the time). Love the watch, always lasts 2 rounds, button system is very good and easy to use. Simple maps are good. Display is very clear and easy to read.”

“Have had the V3 for many years and decided to upgrade & well worth money. Love the Strokes Gained calcs/stats - really helps target areas of weakness Only slight negative is the plotting on website could be more accurate - often it does not get boundaries of rough/bunker/fairway/greens quite right, although easy to correct.”

“I have struggles with syncing the scores from the rounds that i have completed. When i have synced my scores to my phone, it shows only 2 holes that i have completed with the score, and to be fair, those scores are completely different to the input that i have put into the watch. Very frustrating”

“I have used a V3 for years. This V5 upgrades graphics, GPS reception and course hazard depuction. Only issue is when I forget to enter putts and going back a hole is awkward.”
