“Watch looks good and works well. Haven't been able to find the hole map function just by pressing the buttons, will have to refer to the manual. The only thing that is (deeply) annoying is the charging port and cable. Because it's not USB-C I can't just plug it in anywhere which means I have to have the specific cable with it at all times. So silly. It's also fiddly and stiff to get in and I worry I am going to damage it. If you are a typically organised person this shouldn't be a problem, but if you're like me and you find yourself with the watch on your wrist but the cable in your bedroom, you're stuck. Compared to the cost of it's competitors though, it's a relatively small complaint.”

“Used the G6 for four rounds, still not convinced it was a good purchase. First two rounds on the st Andrews links courses the gps was patchy. Last round I elected to no record my score on the G6 and it struggled to move on to the next hole, having to manually change it for the majority of the round. It's not as intuitive as I thought it would be. Playing partner had a cheaper Garmin which has no issues”

“I've been playing the game for a long time. I'm old enought to recall 150 bushes as the only distance reference. Other watches I've bought or investigated had much more information than I wanted, which I supposed justified their high cost. Call me old school, but I'm just interested in the front-middle-back yardage and my SS delivers that at a fair price. Just returned from a month in NZ & Australia and the watch performed brilliantly.”

“The watch is easy to use and gives all the numbers you need fast. There are 3 complaints. 1) no lock when in watch mode. The watch switches to game mode too eaily. 2) no scorecard download or sharing for literally no reason that to sell the more expensive models 3) the buckle could be better quality. fix that and you will have the best golf watch in its category.”

“Works well, looks good with nice clear screen. Only downfall is no battery left indication, only get to see how charged it is when you plug it in.”

“I'm very happy with my Shotscope watch. It's convenient and easy to use as is the after game information. I would like a brighter screen, up to say, the Fitbit watch brightness level, but the watch is readable as it is.”
