The board works but you must check the compatibility of the NVMe my WD did not boot for example. Also the holes drilled into the board are too small and the nuts are tiny. There is no reason the holes not being bigger which would allow the Pilboe(?) Case to fit. I have never drilled into a PCB before I don't know if it will shatter

My NVMe Base arrived quickly and was easy to install and set up. It's already in use with my Pi 5 which is now booting from a 1TB SSD. I think I've finally got a decent replacement for my old desktop machine!

It works well. Easy to fit, was no trouble to configure and it seems to work brilliantly. So good, in fact, that I am planning to swap out the 500GB NVME with a 4TB one and let the Pi5 take over the task currently being done by an HP Microserver.

Perfect addition to the Pi5 - fast storage to compliment the increased processing power of the Pi5. No worries about excessive wear possible on SD cards or USB drives as the nvme-cli package can be used to monitor SMART tests. Very happy with the whole setup.

Works great! My only critical feedback: 1. I wish the PCIe cable was a wee bit longer 2. You should replace the bottom screws with standoffs so you don't need the rubber feet
