“It's effective, fantastic value and very pretty - it's my Pi 5 mainstay these days and I love it. The only *small* annoyance is that is makes access to SD card slot a bit dicey with the short and delicate flat connector cable. Not a problem if you'll be using NVMe exclusively, otherwise either be very careful or pick up the slightly longer cables Pimonori offer for very little money.”

“An excellent accessory for my Pi5. I had a spare NVMe, so this was the ideal opportunity to use it. The excellent video guide made assembly very straightforward, though when adding it all into the case, I had to disassemble it to use the case’s bolts, spacers etc. and remove the sticky feet I’d just added. Maybe this is something to add to the instructions to avoid wasted effort. That said, a great piece of kit.”

I do recommend getting the longer version of the PCIe cable, especially if you're mounting the base below the Pi, as the short cable runs tightly past the SD card slot.”
