“After reading such good reviews about this car I was very excited to get one. Sadly the car is very poorly made and broke in only one outing. It has no inside protection so any dust and bits just go straight into the mechanisms and broke it. It was only taken over dry grassland and concrete path. The battery also didn’t charge properly. As for the company although they were quick to respond basically as soon as you open the car up and drive it the warranty becomes invalid. They recommended the new parts to fix it which are expensive and are not available. I wouldn’t recommend this car at all.”
“I bought this RC car about 6 weeks ago and ive had a few issues already with it. First the lights on the top broke almost immediately - and easy fix so I wasn't too worried. It arrived with scratches already to the front of the car as if it wasn't new or has already been crashed a few times.
Next the back wheels have stopped working at full power and the car doesn't seem to reverse as it used to. It moves slower even after battery changes in the car and remote.
Now, the car barely travels at all only very slowly.
The battery life is great, the remote is simple enough, the car is awesome and its the best one ive bought for my two sons but unfortunately hasn't lasted well at all. Such a shame”
“Steering is button based despite the controller. You can click the steering control left or right you have no actual control over how far the wheels turn. It’s on or off.”
“Steerings not working properly keeps turning on its own my little boy is heartbroken it was a bday present with he really wanted I will contact rc geeks to see if can be changed but it's a faff for a £50 car”
“It’s advertised as being suitable for the ZY-425 Water Land Air Plane but it’s too heavy for it, the plane very quickly comes to the ground with a full battery despite taking off fine and even with the throttle on full. Frustrating as I tried to order the same battery that came with the plane because that works fine but it’s been out of stock for weeks.”
