“Mill End is a very relaxing hotel, with friendly and attentive staff. The evening menu is always interesting, tasty and excellent quality. George (our dog) loves the location right by the river and is welcome in the lounges and garden. Our room featured a small verandah overlooking the rear garden and river (ideal for a couple with a dog). We never go back to somewhere we have been before - except this is our second visit to Mill End.”

“We took our 3 dogs, the hotel were very accommodating. Lovely walks on the doorstep. Our dog friendly room was immaculate.”

“Lovely hotel and surrounds, but we felt that there could have been some seats on the back lawn away from the very busy road, especially when all the tables have been booked for afternoon tea for non-residents and no outdoor space then for residents! Dogs loved their river walks”

“Lovely hotel, great staff and very friendly to us and our two Cocker Spaniels. Great doggy dining with other diners too. Food perfect- evening and breakfast!! Lounges and other communal rooms relaxing. Mill End have thought of everything. Hotel room comfortable and very clean. Well done Mill End Hotel.”

“The Mill End Hotel is a fantastic location for a relaxing break. The food is superb and probably the best I have had in what is (unfairly in my view) branded as a 3 star hotel. We will certainly be going back.”

“We got free room upgrade on arrival due to room availability and the weather. Lovely lounge area that welcomed our pooch. Really attentive staff. Great boot room to clean down your best bud after an adventure. Only negative was that the evening menu was high end and not to everyone’s taste but they were open to accomadating you if needed. Breakfast first class. Room even came with a patio leading to a pleasant garden/lawn area for any late night widdles. All in all, thank you Mill End for a memorable stay in a great location.”

“The staff here are absolutely wonderful and friendly. The hotel is well equipped for pur dog with a boot room with all the essential (toys, poo bag, towel). The room is cozy but the only down side is the sound insulation. We could hear snoring noises from the room the next to us. The room cleanliness can be improved. We return from a long walk and found that our room was not vacuumed and dirty glass was not been changed. The breakfast was very tasty with a good selection.”
