“What a hidden gem on the edge of Dartmoor! We had a lovely mid week break with our little Wowzer Coisty. There are two lovely walks straight from the door (short one to Ghagford) and longer along the river to Fingle Bridge with pub stop at the bridge). The Hotel was comfortable and spotlessly clean. the breakfast had plenty of choice and delicious. The evening meal had 4 choices starter, main and pud if you wanted them. The food was delicious and its nice not to get in the car after a long day out and about. Finally, all the staff we encountered were polite, friendly and helpful.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The hotle is like a warm welcomh courty house. I had a lovely room and there were treats for Suzie. The walks are stunning, and the food excelllent.

“Our party was Mum, 3 kids and grandparents, plus 3 dogs. Mill End Hotel at Chagford was very welcoming to us all. We were treated as VIPs by all the staff, who were very accommodating. The room was comfortable and the decor tasteful. The food was outstanding. We look forward to visiting again.”

“Wonderful stay again at this superb hotel situated on the edge of Dartmoor with brilliant walks for four-legged friends, delicious food and caring, friendly, dog confident staff. Our room was comfortable and well appointed with a patio door opening onto the gardens. All in all ten out of ten and we will be visiting again.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? They said they would clean the rooms every other day which was not adequate enough. Food in restaurant was very nice.

“We had a very nice stay at Mill End Hotel, mainly due to where it is. It was the most beautiful place to stay and our dog loved it, you could walk into the villages but the main attractions were the pathways surrounding the hotel which took you on some beautiful terrain.”

“What a lovely hotel. We were so well looked after by the staff who were wonderful. We had a lovely room with a balcony so we could sit out in the sunshine. We asked if we could eat with our dog Murphy, and the kindly set up a table in the Reading Room. There were lots of lovely walks along the river bank. Altogether a truly memorable holiday.”
