Did you and your dog receive a warm welcome? Yes

Did you feel your stay was good value for money? Yes

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? I have emailed you as my wife became ill on the morning of Sunday but the hotel informed as booked a paid for with you I would have to contact you to try for a refund , we stayed one day less so no dinner on Sunday night or breakfast on Monday , do I chase my email or leave to you ?

“It was fine , the bar on the Saturday was extremely busy due to a wedding , would have thought extra staff would have helped”

“This hotel is friendly & laid out so you get a lot of privacy The walk around the outside of the premises with the dog was ideal Lovely grounds great food !”

“Spent a brilliant 3 days/2 nights and after dining in both the restaurant and bar, can confirm this is brilliant value. Most importantly, the dogs had a great time living their best lives. Booking for a return visit for sure.”

“We've stayed here twice now and will do so again. It's ideal if you're a dog owner as there are extensive grounds for those early morning and evening walks. The food is great and the staff fantastic. There is a gym, swimming pool and for us EV owners onsite charging.”

“We have stayed a few times at New Place, before getting our puppy, and as she is only 5 months old, booked with some trepidation! However, it all went pretty well! Congratulations to the staff who at one point were catering for seven dogs in the bar! Food was excellent and the pup enjoyed her sausage! The grounds are simply wonderful for walking, even in the rain! The room was clean and comfortable - opening out onto an open area to make 'quick visits' simple. We were impressed, and will be back! Thank you!”

“We had a great stay with lots of pros and a few cons. We booked a standard double, and while the bed was quite hard and the bottom sheet was too small and kept pulling out, exposing the mattress, the overall experience was positive. The room and bathroom had a bit of mould, and although the tea and milk were replenished daily, the dirty mugs and teaspoons were not replaced.From a dog owner's perspective, this place was heaven. The lovely grounds and a beautiful walk through the woods, which took about 15 minutes, were perfect for our dog. The staff were wonderful, and we enjoyed meeting many other dog owners in the bar where meals were served. While we didn't get to know their names, we certainly remembered their dogs, and our dog had a fantastic time socializing.The location was great, with lovely countryside and villages nearby offering good walks. I would definitely stay here again, though I would consider upgrading the room next time.”
