Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Some confusion over complimentary travel pack of Caboodle dog food not issued by hotel advised should be sent direct to home address by Pets Pyjamas?
Hotel was lovely although room smelt a little stuffy. Evening food was good, breakfast on second day a little disappointing, also felt a little forgotten being seated in bar and no sausage for our dog as advertised. Evening bar staff very pleasant and welcoming.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? A friendly welcome initially and my dog was given a treat but that's where it ended. Nothing in the room for my dog, other places I've stayed have had dog bowls treats and sometimes a bed or towel for a dog. First day there was no one around for breakfast and because I wasn't allowed in the dining room or buffet room I had to wait 20mins to be helped, even though I had given a time I'd be having breakfast. 2nd day much better service but once 2 other guests left the bar where we could eat with dogs and I was on my own the music was turned off and it was made clear I should leave. Also no dog bins near main building and a lot of drama over me asking for a bottle of water at reception. I'm sure if I was in a couple it would have been a better experience but being a solo traveller hasn't usually been an issue. Food was great though, bar staff friendly, room was comfortable albeit quite dark, small and dusty. Wasn't quite the relaxing experience I was looking for.
A beautiful location and the food was great but overall a bit disappointing. Set up to cater more for weddings and corporates and whilst I could bring my dog there were no specific provisions to make it dog friendly, and I had to breakfast alone in a room with no atmosphere.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? I would suggest that Pets Pyjamas review this accommodation before recommending to other dog owners
Reception was very understaffed at a particularly busy time when checking in. Staff were not particularly welcoming. We took two small dogs and were due to stay two nights but the room was very small and not big enough for two adults and two dogs so decided to stay for one night only. Nothing was provided for the dogs. I asked for a water bowl at reception and was handed a dirty bowl with dried food left in it!!! The reception saw my face and then offered to clean the bowl. There was certainly nothing dog friendly about this accommodation!! Would not recommend.

Good location.Tiny rooms but convenient No air conditioning so wouldn’t recommend for hot summer days. Good fine dining but had to eat in the bar since dogs are not allowed in the restaurant and the rooms were too small for two dogs to settle in. Very nice and friendly service . Nice grounds for a short walk and lots of dog friendly places to walk including the lovely sandy beaches of West wittering just 30 minutes away and the pretty village of Bosham with its nice cafes, short drive to Gosport with its nice harbour!

There were 11 of us in a group (9 rooms and 9 dogs) for 2 nights in September 2023. The rooms were clean and lovely, however they did not have AC or a fridge. It was 30 degrees during our stay, so a fridge would have been helpful for storing dog food, and cold drinks. The staff were super friendly and went out of their way to ensure that our stay was enjoyed. The grounds are beautiful and the facilities are great. Food was lovely, however the evening dining outside could have been better prepared (seats were very uncomfortable and could have done with cushions, a table cloth or placemats would have been nice. The steps outside on the patio need's better lighting and a handrail, and was really dangerous in the dark). When guests are dining/drinking outside, drinks should be served in plastic cups, (we found a LOT of broken glass under the table where the dogs were sitting). Would definitely come and stay again, and we wished we had booked for slightly longer than 2 nights.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? No dog bowls, bedding or towels provided for the dogs (as had been in other pets pyjamas hotels).
The hotel has great potential! The grounds are beautiful, our dogs very much enjoyed exploring the grounds (a few more dog bins would help - there were several poo bags left hanging around (not by us)). The dog friendliness interms of the social areas is limited and is on a first come first served basis, this includes for drinks and food - if dining with your dog, you can only order from the bar menu. Choices are limited. With tables and chairs being available in the bar, corridor or outside. The food was of reasonable quality. The seating and dining arrangements without your dogs is a lot more comfortable and better lit, you can also order off the restaurant menu! The Breakfast was great either in the bar or main dining room! The rooms are reasonable, the rooms within the mews are small and cosy - this is where the dog friendly rooms are. Accessibility is not the best - slightly better of wheelchair dependent, the accessible ramps are 'long way round'. It was a tiring walk to and from the bar for meals for the member of our party on crutches and with reduced vision. The gym and pool were reasonable. There were a few gems within the staff team, unfortunately I am not able to re-call their names within the dining room team and the housekeeping team - we thank you for your help and kindness!

A most enjoyable 2 night stay with dinner, excellent food and service from start to end, we ate in the bar where dogs allowed, the breakfast buffet is amazing, our bedroom very quiet and comfortable and our large Italian Spinone was well at ease, beautiful setting of a grand house in 32 acres so ideal for a good walk and beautifully manicured lawns to relax in, will definitely return

In the photos, this hotel looks beautiful and the main house is. The guest stay in small cabins around the grounds. The walk way is right next to the window so you have to keep you curtains shut for privacy. The walls are thin and you can hear everything outside, which was driving my dog wild. The hotel isn’t massively dog friendly as they are only allowed in the pub. So when you are eating breakfast, you have to eat alone in a empty pub as you are not allowed in the restaurant with the dog. The food was amazing though! There was a wedding going on when we were there, so people waking past at all hours, shouting and laughing. There wasn’t even any music in the pub so it was pretty boring to be honest. The grounds were nice and we went for a nice walk in the morning, but that was about it. We were the only people with a dog that we saw in the whole hotel. I wouldn’t go back, but it was Ok for a one night visit. Very good value with the 3 course dinner and breakfast.
