“Check in , early, easy and all well, as described. Not so big but you don't travel light with a dog Instantly relaxed. Husband went for a swim and Bonnie and I explored. We didn't actually leave the grounds but Bonnie , a bouncy 2 year old was off lead for majority of time for the entire stay Breakfast brilliant, buffet style. Dinner, was eaten in the bar with the dog and there was plenty of choice. Friendly staff everywhere Will definitely come again. Thank you everyone so much”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? They host a lot of weddings here so can get very busy!

“This is a beautiful building with a gorgeous mile long wooded walk around the outside of the grounds, perfect for morning and evening walks with the dogs. The bar area where you'd eat (if dining with them) is lovely. The dog friendly rooms are all ground floor and are clean and modern but quite small. Our cocker spaniels were fine but if you had bigger dogs it might feel a bit cramped. We're hoping to return as the surrounding area is great for longer wooded walks, and decent pubs too”

“Love this hotel. The grounds are so well kept. dogs are allowed almost everywhere. Facilities are great. The breakfast is very plentiful and even caters for special diets. We stated in a news room which was very clean considering it was a dog friendly room, it was very well appointed and bed was comfy. Not a huge room but big enough. A great place to relax. The inclusive meals were tasty but quite small so we were glad we had brought food with us. The food prices if not in the package were very expensive indeed. We will return!”

“Room is small but very well-appointed with all the usual facilities. A nice touch was a water bowl from the hotel for the dog. The food in the hotel was excellent as was the service. This was value for money”

“The whole family went including Baxter the dog. We all had a fantastic time as the hotel was lovely and very dog friendly. Baxter enjoyed the grounds for a nice long walk and even the odd sausage. There is lots to do around the area and the beach is only 20 minutes away.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Dressing gowns to wear to and from swimming pool would be good.

“What a lovely break. The grounds were amazing especially for our dog. The room was fine. The food was excellent. The price was excellent value for money. Friendly staff. Perfect location to visit the cities south of the hotel and the New Forest too.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? New place needs to look at it's signs. We arrived in the gloom and in horrendous rain and the signs are simply too faint to read. Yet another example of design over function.

“really is a motel as rooms are quite a way from facilities. Having said that the place was well organized and the gardens and grounds are beautiful.”

“Stayed here for one-night. Dogs allowed in bar, so ate there for breakfast. Dinner menu very expensive, so best to go to a local pub in my opinion. Great walks in the grounds, although I did lose him at one point, and he was returned to me by a waitress that had found him sitting at the (open) door to the kitchens (!). Good venue, recommended.”
