“As always a lovely weekend, this time for a special birthday and we really chilled and so did the dogs. Love meeting people of like mind and the staff are always so lovely. Food amazing as always. We will be back”

“Absolutely dog friendly hotel. Acres of land to stroll and exercise dogs with the added bonus of being able to bring them into the breakfast room and the hotel restaurant when eating and dining. Extremely friendly staff who couldn’t be more guest and pet orientated . Will definitely visit again.”

“Hotel was brilliant, very person and dog friendly! We had a massive room for 2 adults, 2 teens and a dog. Dinner and breakfast both good quality. Lovely staff and atmosphere at the hotel. Would definitely go again!”

“The staff were all very attentive and accommodating without being intrusive. Food was good. Dogs were welcome everywhere. Dog exercise area perfect. Would definitely recommend it.”

“For anyone wanting to go away with their dogs this is a great venue . Plenty of ares around for dog walking and the hotel grounds are food too . The staff all care for you and your dogs ,and everytning is made very easy”

“Great hotel in a lovely location. Good size rooms with everything you need for your stay. The food here is just incredible, the buffet breakfast is plentiful, but the real gem are the evening meals, a well thought out menu with lots of options, including vegetarian/vegan, absolutely gorgeous food. Can't thank the staff enough, everyone from housekeeping to management are so friendly,nothing is too much trouble and always happy to chat and pass on local knowledge. This hotel isn't just dog friendly but super dog friendly, from the moment we arrived our dog was made a fuss of by every member of staff, who all took the time to ask her name, there is nowhere your dog can't go.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? We had a really lovely stay at the hotel and would recommend it to others.

“Set in beautiful surroundings with lots of areas to exercise the dogs. The staff were very welcoming. The room was enormous so plenty of space for the dogs to stretch out. There was lots of room between tables in the breakfast room and restaurant area which was great. This allowed the dogs space to lie down away from the other dogs. Our only observation would be that the service in the restaurant was very, very slow which wasn’t a game changer but it could have been a little faster.”

“This was our first visit, with Sam and Daisy, however we have stayed here several times previously, with our other dog(sadly no longer with us) So we knew what to expect, in terms of the location and facilities for dogs. On booking in at reception, we were giving a warm welcome, the dogs given fuss and treats from a waiting jar of doggy goodies. Our room was clean and welcoming with dog bowls and treats waiting for the dogs. It was a ground floor room, with access to an enclosed concrete patio for the dogs, looking onto the well groomed grounds. Dogs are allowed everywhere in the hotel, and are not just tolerate they are welcomed. You can dine with your dog, which is great, as our dogs suffer with separation anxiety. There were lots of dogs at the hotel of all breeds and sizes, however most guests, seemed to leave their dogs in their rooms when they dined. The food was delicious served pipping hot, and nicely presented, not an extensive menu, but fine if your only staying a few days. The menu was not standard pub food, and experimented with different flavour combinations that really worked. The breakfast was a varied choice, that had something to suit everyone. The dogs were presented with a sausage each for breakfast which they quickly ate. All the staff at the hotel were friendly, chatty and made you feel very welcome, during your stay. All in all, a nice relaxing good valve break away with the pets pyjamas deal. We will be back again soon.”
