I like the book. Actually I wanted to mail you this, but now the review request pops up in my mail box. Timing! It shows that you've painstakingly researched the subject. I was always interested in the break-out attempts, which are covered in the book. I'm also fond of the QR codes leading you to the present situation. I was not quite sure what to expect: since the publisher is called Panzerwrecks, and the book is Panzer in Berlin. Therefore I was also hoping for some pictures of the tanks before being turned into wrecks. I don't know if those exist at all from those last days. Perhaps some more sketches about the battlepositions of the different tanks at certain moments. I like the map that came with the book very much, so I would have enjoyed a few more of these with more detail. Being a former Leopard 2 Cavalry officer, I'm also curious what the given orders were in those moments, or did it resemble "panic-football" as we say in Holland. However, as I mentioned, I don't know if that surpasses the scope of the book. I can imagine that this is something next to impossible to find out. But that is the one thing I would have liked to know more about. So all in all I am very pleased with my book and I'd like to thank you for your painstaking efforts to get all of this done.

Thanks for leaving a review Henk - I am glad you like it. To your point about wanting to see the tanks before they were wrecked; if we had been able to find photos of these, we would have included them. I am sure that you understand that finding this many new and interesting photos of Panzers in Berlin is a significant challenge. There will be a follow-up book (in a few years) that will look at other aspects of armoured warfare in the battle, and we will take the opportunity to add to the story.

Excellent. Plenty of very useful pictures. Felipe Rodna´s colour drawings are awesome.

The battle of Berlin is so famous, but the information about the tanks and armored vehicles that were used by the Reich for the defense of the capitol was relatively obscure. This book has filled the void. An impressive work and highly recommended.

When I got the book, I had bunch of modeling friends over. We spent about 2 hours gawking and giggling at the photos (because they were so good) like schoolgirls! The QRC codes linked to google street-view is a very cool touch. Lots of very cool photos showing some very interesting armored equipment in ruins of Berlin. Very much worth the money!
