The separate map included in the book shows Berlin as it was in 1945 and plots the locations of the wrecks which allows you to read how the desperate struggles took place while referencing the map to visualize where exactly the actions took place.”

“Panzers in Berlin is to my mind a worthwhile purchase, especially if you are into dioramas. The book itself follows the general disintigration of the German forces in the Berlin area, it is well illustrated and has some very good colour renditions. As a general record of the times post war it does illustrate how the civilians in the area either coped or were pressed into work. The book also shows the use of armoured vehicles as pillboxes; a very interesting book overall from the history/aftermath point of view. The book does not contain pictures of gloating soldiers, it is a good solid record of the armour lost in the battle.”
