Hi Lawrence, Thank you for taking the time to write your review. I'm really sorry to read that your collection was delayed. Sadly, it looks as though the driver ran out of time to collect your pallet on the initial date requested. Although the majority of issues caused by the pandemic and HGV driver shortage have cleared up, some depots are still experiencing higher than usual volumes of freight, causing delays in some areas of the country. Despite the initial collection delay, I can see that the goods were picked up on Thursday and delivered on Monday, 2 working days later. This is the indicated transit time for a super saver delivery. Occasionally, bookings experience delays. After all, this is logistics with many moving parts, and unfortunately, no booking dates can be guaranteed. This is because there are so many events that are out of our control, including driver illness, vehicle breakdowns, road accidents, traffic, and so on. That being said, PalletOnline operates through the UK's most reliable pallet network, maintaining the industry's highest success rate. In conclusion, I'd like to sincerely apologise for the inconvenience. I've dropped you a private message about this booking. Hi Tomasz, Thank you for taking the time to write your review. I'm really sorry to hear about the delay you've experienced with your collection. I've had a look into this, and unfortunately, the driver wasn't able to make the collection yesterday as the driver ran out of time. Sadly, some depots are still experiencing higher than usual freight volumes, which is causing delays in certain areas, but I assure you that your goods are scheduled to be collected today. I've checked the system, and I can see that we have upgraded your delivery from a Super Saver to a Next Day delivery service, free of charge. Please be aware that all collections are made from 9 am til 5 pm, so the driver still has time to collect the goods from you today. If the driver still hasn't picked up your goods, please contact us now via LiveChat and we will be more than happy to contact the collection depot to get an update for you.
