“Have ordered these two times Will order again. These nuts are fantastic (although not nuts) - even kids like them They have a slightly nutty taste and at first are hard to bite. Then, they are full of flavour (nutty - kind of sweet). A healthy alternative to sugary snacks. This brand is especially fresh/high quality. Highly nutritive. Bonus: the order arrives promptly. Expensive postage but well worth the treat (other brands do not compare).”

“Contrary to others reviews and the directions on the packaging Ive found it both possible and very enjoyable to eat these Tiger Nuts straight from the packet without soaking or any other form of preparation. They are dense and hard at first but do yield to gentle grinding pressure and saliva. Whatever other virtues they have this means that eaten raw with no preparation, these are not a snack that can be consumed in excess without thinking, each half-dozen nuts probably take 30-60 seconds to masticate or even longer.The flavor, which thanks to the time taken to masticate you experience in full, appears to be a combination of earthiness, peanuts, caramel and a subtle sweetness. I would describe them as somewhere between very nice and delicious. For reference my consumption of sugars is very low indeed and I enjoy the flavor or all nuts and also peanuts.As for their virtues, Ive read that they are high in starch and particularly resistant starch which may offer benefits to gut health thanks to providing a source of pre-biotic food to the microbiota that dwell in the intestine. They are reportedly also an excellent source of iron, potassium and vitamins C and E.
