After countless requests from you guys & gals, we are pleased to finally be able to offer our very own superb quality, 100% polished Stainless Steel, Dual exit exhaust rear silencer for the Mk2/2.5. Should you require a replacement "crush" gasket, please see item SI2083.
Looks like it should be £400.00 worth.

“Not particularly loud, at least combined with the IL centre section, but obviously well made. Looks great on the car and does add a nicer tone and a little volume to the exhaust over stock. Personally, I would prefer louder but that is my only real complaint about this backbox”

“Super échappement, look sympas sonorité roque mais pas bruyante montage très facile, il faut juste découper un peu le pare-choc coté gauche , très satisfait de cet achat, délai de livraison rapide”

“Fantastic sounding exhaust, and looks the business. Delivery was slower than usual due to ordering over the bank holiday weekend but it was well packed. Nice deep burble down low changes into a full roar at full throttle.”

“Really well made and fitting it was easy, mounted first time with very minimal fuss.Pleased to say it also works really well with the IL Motorsports mid-section.Gives a very distinctive low-burble at idle that turns some heads, seems to get a bit louder in a sporty way in midrange, then really sounds amazing at the top end but apparently isn't as loud as it seems.It came with no template, but it wasn't really an issue as making a cardboard one from the existing side wasn't too difficult.That brings me to my one niggle, at times it does 'seem' a little too loud at times, like it may need an extra baffle in it somewhere, but I've been told by a friend it isn't as noticeable from outside so fair enough.”

“Looks good, sounds great.Once again MX5parts came through for me and got a big order out the door including this exhaust ready for the booked in workshop time - many thanks again.This back box fitted perfectly with the MX5parts SS midsection and sounds awesome. Having had a straight through system on for the last 15 years I can honestly say this system isn't too loud at all, just a nice low rumble - in my humble opinion. Old exhaust bolts came off with several good WD-40 soakings, though I wiped out the nearby midsection O2 sensor by using the rattle gun on them. I had ordered a spare so no big drama. Don't order extra gaskets at the midsection and back box already come with. A template for the bumper cut out would have been nice.”
