Lovely bit of kit and it wasn't that hard to fit, used a bit fairy liquid on the rubbers just to help get the old one off and put this one on, sounds/looks great. My only concern is getting it fitted so both the tail pipes look the same length, think I'm going to have to look at the joint further down the exhaust to see if there is any adjustment there that will help me.

Good build quality, easy to fit and makes the car sound much better without being too noisy and also looks nice on the car

Well made and nice rumble sound when on without being over noisy.Decided to fit myself. The difficult part :- persuading the two old bolts to undo (patience and WD40) and getting the old box off the three rubber hangers. This probably took an hour with tea breaks. The easy bit- putting the new box on. Straight on the hangers no problem. Lined up exhaust for bumper modification and used hair dryer technique as described in other reviews (no mucking about cutting and I think it probably looks better thanks for all who suggested it). Bolted back to middle section. All done in 20 minutes. Would i do it all again ? You bet.

Brilliant exhaust. i brought it mainly because i loved the look of the twin exhaust's, and it is simply stunning when it's on the car.The exhaust is larger than what i anticipated, and when i saw it thought it wouldn't be great for back pressure/compression.... but after putting it on i can say there has been no performance loss. Very pleased with the way it sounds, it's quite loud but if you're taking it steady it sounds great, real rumble coming from it, and at top speed its brilliant. had it fitted by a garage when i was getting some other work done. and yet to get the cutout done on the other side but that should be done shortly. all in all... its fairly expensive but worth every penny.

I think I understand what people say when they assume that the 'zorst is "draining the power" its because the car makes much more noise at lower revs so I ended up driving a little more gingerly :P however my car is still just as happy to power along if you give it the beans. the 'zorst itself is a lovely thing nice welding well polished not too large diameter.Low end rumble, high end roar. throaty but not intrusive. loud but you dont sound like your running a vauxhall nova with no silencer so dont worry too much. Just dont come in late at night at full throttle and i'm sure it will be fine!It did cost me a bomb to get fitted (went down the route of having it professionally done with a body shop) so now it looks like an original fitting. very, very, very happy with it.

If you want a deeper sounding exhaust note, this is the one. Makes it throatier and sounds like a larger engined car. My VT Sport also has the Typhoon induction kit and this is a nice combination I can recommend. I dont listen to the stereo much now (you'll need a soundboard - get one, theyre a bargain!) Easy to fit, make sure you get a new gasket to keep things nice and tight.Well packaged, although delivery took a bit longer than usual (over a bank holiday so what do I expect).

addition to my review of 18 June 2010:I found ou that a lot of the loudness was actually drone coming from the pipework and the exhaust box and not coming from the exhaust exits. I wrapped the pipes and box with Cool It exhaust wrap (Thermotec) and the drone is more or less gone. Suggestion for MX5parts: include this product in the web shop! It is really good value for money. Now I enjoy the sporty exhaust note, in stead of suffering from it. The car also feels more responsive compared to the original exhaust. So my opinion has now been adjusted: it is not a quiet exhaust, but it is decent enough for daily use. It'll give you a race track feel any time you want, but you can cruise along the motorway and listen to the radio as well. The exhaust is also relatively lightweight compared to other sports exhausts and the welds are really top class. High quality!
