“On my standard Mk2.5 this is quite a loud exhaust. I wonder whether the sound will increase or decrease over time. A little less would be nice.Compared to the IL Motorsport Stainless Steel Dual Exhaust Silencer (which costs much more!) it is much louder. Compliments to MX5parts for speedy delivery: I ordered the silencer on Sunday evening, it was delivered to my address in The Netherlands on Thursday and Thursday evening I had fitted it and went for a test drive.Perfect fit, no adjusting any holes or anything that I had read in other reviews. Used a heat gun to shape the rear bumper - easy!”

“If you want a good quality, loud exhaust that doesn't do your head in, then buy this!_ Excellent quality, nice workmanship._ Perfect fitment._ No template provided._ Don't cut the bumper. I used a hairdryer (how apt) to heat the bumper and bend it to shape. Took about 15 mins.HOW IT SOUNDS:If you feather the throttle (e.g. cruising at 30mph with little throttle):-Low, deep rumble which is not intrusive, if you want to be discreet._ In general use:- Raspy, doesn't boom, sounds like a proper sports car.- Not hooligan-sound-levels like an HKS exhaust or similar.- Doesn't drone at 70mph in 6th gear- You can live with it everyday._ Hard acceleration:- LOUD! It has a sharp RASPY tone that kicks ass!”

“Sull mia nbfl 1.6 del 2002 èerfetto,montaggio facilissimo e suono fantasto specie quando si scalda un po,le prestazioni sono migliorate ai medi regimi e x il paraurti è bastato scaldare un po la parte sinistra con un fono da carrozziere,dall'ordine all'arrivo in Italia in appena 5 giorni,che dire sono veramente soddisfatto”

“I have fitted the exhaust to my 2.5 being very happy with the sound and performance. Dont cut the bumper to fit the exhaust......I used a heat gun on the inside of the bumper, cautiously,avoiding bubbling the paint, then forming it to fit the tailpipe. Money Well Spent ! ! ! ! !”

“Excellent, fast postage, however NO template for rear bumper was supplied. Not really a problem as I measured the other side up, made a template and cut the bumper out from that. Easy to fit and looks and sounds superb.”

“I was actually concerned about fitting this as exhausts tend to be beyond separation without a blow torch and a stick if dynamite however, although I had to band a 16mm socket onto the flange nuts a decent pull on a long breaker bar and both nuts were off the joint and the rest was plain sailing, ok a bit choppy as exhaust hangers are always a pain but it was all done in a hour start to finish and the noise is lovely. That deep burble at start up but not intrusive when driving, in fact my induction still makes more noise. There was no template though but I used a long piece of grease proof paper and some carpet fixing tape. I cut round the existing cut-out, then swapped the paper round and gently went round the new side with a Stanley knife, then cut the hole with same knife. A few sharp buts to sand off, but it looks good.I would have given 5, but there was no template, so only 4, but I still love it.”

“The delivery as usually was excellent. this Exhaust looks good on my miata, although still needs the cut. I never received the “Supplied with cut out template and instructions for the rear bumper.” Its also Strange but, I have this feeling that the power performance has declined a lot. In fact it feels like I have the AC on which consumes most of my miata's power.”
