I was very sceptical as I'm sure a lot of people would be about spending the money on this. I can report back I'm very happy with my purchase! I fitted this myself on my driveway and it's a straightforward job for anyone half practical. BE PREPARED for your Mx5's bolts to be rusted to high hell.. I went to my local hardware shop to get replacements after I realised I was going to have to saw them off. It's great quality by the looks of it and the welds are pretty decent. It's given me even more enjoyment out of driving an already addictive car in the first place.

Excellent delivery service to Spain. This exhaust is well made and of good quality. It was a doddle to fit and the cutting of the rear bumper was easy and accurate with the enclosed cutting template. The look and the sound is impressive and give the car a more sporty sound and feel, the engine seems to appear freeer revving.. perhaps my imagination but this exhaust is well worth the money. Highly recommended

Bought with the stainless mid pipe, good quality sounds great and feels more revvy than the stock exhaust. Fits great on the car, great look fast easy fit well packed, top marks to after sales support too

Love it - bought from the UK and flew it back on the plane with me when I had a UK trip so no postage. Dead easy to fit and the old one, that was original and had been on there for 13 years came off without a hassle. New one sat well (although I did buy new mountings for it so I could cut the old ones off as removing these after 13 years was pretty tough). The new box is lovely - it's not intrusive but gives more of a bellow than the standard when under the cosh - and is a quiet rumble the rest of the time. Certainly recommended, and fits well too. Makes a big difference to the car.

I have yearned for the dual pipe rear end look and this box gives you that in bucket loads but after 6 months im afraid its got to go ,its just to loud for my liking.Even after replacing the centre section and wrapping the pipework between the resinator and rear box its still to loud.if i was 20 years younger id probably love it but my boy racer days are over.So looking at a bespoke box that is a nice quiet sound but with dual pipes one being a dummy. To be fair the quality of the dual box is top notch and can't knock it for that but be prepared for a lot louder driving experience.

Excellent product. Nice deep "rumble" loud under acceleration, but calms down when cruising. I've coupled this with the K&N typhoon which is an excellent combination. Be aware though mine came with a crush gasket (apparently not all of them do??) that was the wrong size. Purchase the correct one just in case yours dosen't come with the right gasket! Noticed slightly lower MPG, but this is probably due to me putting my foot down to get the roar!

Good quality, solid and excellent looks. Nice throaty roar on start-up and satisfying but not overly distracting note when driving. Only concern is that it is slightly lopsided with LH side being slightly lower and sticks out further than RH side which rubs the top of the existing cut-out (talking mm here though). Fitted by local garage and not had a chance to check whether they have correctly fitted it yet, so that could be cause of lopsided looks.

Awesome sound and really balances out the look of the rear of the car.It was a pain in the back side to fit, due to a pair of very rusty nuts on my current exhaust. I ended up soaking the nuts in WD40 two days in a row and then taking a propane burner to them. Use a decent six-point socket to avoid rounding the nuts (I used a 12-point socket and rounded one of the nuts straight away), replace the old ones with new locking nuts.
