Another major bargain from mx5parts! Superb quality, 100% polished Stainless Steel, single exit exhaust for the Mk2 and 2.5. Made exclusively by us, for us, this great exhaust has 57mm main pipework and a 90mm dual sleeve exit pipe. Fits Mk2/2.5 1998>2005 Looks like it should be £300.00 worth. Five year warranty!

“Great exhaust. I ordered this for a Christmas around the start of December and it arrived in about 3 days (which my parents then kept until Christmas day). Me and my dad tried to fit this ourselves a few days after Christmas but we're unsuccessful as the nuts were so rusted on nothing we Did worked although one nut did literally just fall off, so we took it down to our local garage who we send all our cars so and he fitted it in the afternoon (I'm not sure how long he took as I was busy during the afternoon so didn't really check or ask), it ended up costing me 48 pound in all to fit but I'm extremely happy with it, the noise is not too loud at low revs so won't annoy everyone but as you progress through the revs the real sound comes through which is great I still have the cat and original centre pipe on. Would definitely recommend.”

“Service provided by mx5parts bloody brilliant. Was made fully aware of the progress of my order all the way to the point of delivery via texts and emails, i even knew the name of the driver.As for the exhaust...... lovely sound, just what the car needed. I am not a connoisseur of car parts so not able to compare quality to others.......its shiny, welds look good........oh and have i mentioned the sound....bloody lovely...MPG decreased significantly since fitting............just dont want to change gear. No power gains but wasnt expecting any....Fittted it myself with little mechanical knowledge...not that you need any to fit this.”

“Great value exhaust, even better as I got it on discount. Ordered 5pm on Wednesday came by 12 the next day. Exhaust sounds good, nice and sporty but not intrusive. Complements my induction kit perfectly. Easy enough to fit and looks like it will last a while”

“This is a good tailpipe with a nice sound that matures over time. It's easy to fit but needs a bit of elbow to manipulate it onto all three hangers and mate it to the angled bracket. The difficult part is getting the old one off - grinding the nuts off without damaging the studs (unless you have new studs!). If ordering make sure you get the nuts and the gasket. The Mazda nuts for this model are an unusual pitch - M12 x 1.5 mm, as these were not available I fitted it with manifold nuts from a BMW. This is the second one of these I've fitted, the original I transferred from my previous MX5 (sadly part exchanged). It has a good life span beyond the guarantee but eventually failed, fracturing between the weld from the inlet pipe and the box, although it probably did 80,000 miles. I was pleased to see that the stud holes now fit the standard studs of the original Mazda center pipe, I had to bore out the holes on the first one. Overall I'm very pleased with this tailpipe, good value for money.”

“Within 2 hours of this arriving I was outside fitting this to the car!Definitely need to pre-lube the two nuts, I did mine twice and they were still tight. Invest in a decent breaker bar for some good leverage. I did mine without jacking up the car. Hardest part was prying the old exhaust out of the rubber hangers so these were liberally lubed prior to fitting the new exhaust and gasket.Fitting this was a doodle, everything lined up perfectly and the sound... Well I haven't used the stereo yet - it's not so loud that it'd bother the neighbour but the exhaust tone now has a lovely low burble to it.Really pleased with my purchase, the old exhaust was blowing and I opted to spend a little extra on this one after seeing all the reviews. Can't fault it at all.”
