Bargain of the year!Superb quality, 100% polished Stainless Steel, Dual exit exhaust for the Mk1.Made exclusively by us, for us, this great exhaust has 57mm main pipework and 95 x 85mm exits.Supplied complete with all gaskets, fixing bolts and cut-out template.Fits Mk1 1989>1996 (upto chassis number JMZ...308212) having either the 370 or 440mm cat (please check!).Five year warranty!

“Drove down on the friday to get it fitted having pre-arranged, unfortunatly unable to fit it due to time (?) having just taken time off work and done a 3 hour drive..... ho hum, happy teddy or what.Collected instead to fit myself as parts of the existing pipe had by now fell off and were sat in the boot!Fitted everything on the Sat, out in the pouring rain on the front drive as the car was needed for work on the monday.The rear bumper cut out was simplicity in itself, with the template sticking to the bumper helped by the rain!Did NOT need to remove the bracing to fit the pipe although I had been told this was required (?)Bit of a problem lining it up straight though, but sorted with 'minor' adjustment of the mounts. The end pipes are now equal distance within 1+/- mm of the centre line.Good pointsLooks? ... Great. Sounds? ... Great. Value? ... Outstanding.Negative pointsNot getting it fitted and the excuse why (removal of bracing and time) even though I had arranged over the phone before hand.”

“Usuall very fast delivery, well packaged etc. What I couldn't get over is the quality. Thick stainless steel (non of your cheap and nasty far eastern tin foil), beautifully welded and polished, a perfect fit first time. Really does look like it should have cost twice as much. Old exhaust fell apart easily and took just over the hour to fit, including the cut out. The two exit pipes from the box are uneaqual in length which causes a nice burble at tickover, but strangely the longer one gets considerably hotter than the short one. A nice raspy note up to 2K where the noise becomes a deep boom (stops the wife talking) and from 3.5k up howels like the girlfriend on heat. Brilliant! Best of all though, the two polished tips look fantsatic.Should have bought one years ago.”

“Brought this ages ago but only just got around to fitting it. Bumper cutout perfect size just take your time. My 5 is the 475mm cat so had to shorten pipe by 50mm. Used a joiner from ebay search :130268603897 size 7, worked perfectly. Noise is slighly louder but has a lovely growl on tickover. The quality of this exhaust is exceptional for the price, you will not be disappointed. I have been in the motortrade for 24 years and I was so impressed I wrote this!. You will reverse your car onto the drive just so you can look at it!. Buy it.”

“Fantastic exhaust overall. IMO it is loud, but that is why I bought it. Also looks superb. Remember you will need to cut into the rear bumper. No detectable increase in performance, but I did leave the catalyst in place. Buy for noise and looks.”

“this exhaust is very loud, so a word of warning before your buy,if you dont like loud this probably isnt for you. The cutting out of the bumper wasnt the easiest thing to do. Overall good fitment and i love the sound, this was my first item from mx5parts and i was very impressed, hence why i am now a regular customer!”

“Bought a dual exit exhaust for my 5 even though it has a 475mm cat which it's not supposed to fit. I had the cat shortened and welded by a well known performance exhaust specialist who charged a fiver !!! I'ts brilliant and fits a treat the sound is perfect sounds like an Aston {maybe not lol} . Any way on a value for money basis this is superb and I'd recommend it to anyone also brilliant service from MX5 parts , came next morning after ordering.”
