Looks great. On a track it sounds great. Just cruising around, its way too loud when the roof is up. I now get a headache on the motorway unless its summer.Left exit strengthening bracket has shaken off at the back box end - this might be the rattling that others have been reporting - just wiggle them about to see. I'll have to get that welded back on.After I had it fitted for a while I noticed the steel was discolouring in a band around the back box. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend. Shame.

Good for the money, but has a very boomy resonance with the hood up between 3500 to 4000rpm in 5th, which is a shame as this is your typical cruising speed.

As usual delivery was the next day. This unit is great and looks far too good to be hidden under the car. Once the old exhaust was off it was simple to fit. The hardest part was getting it to sit lower enough to clear the rear bumper. Easily solved using longer rear hangers. Yes it's on the noisy side but what a sound!!!!Rod

I have bought tghis item together with the de-cat by pass pipe. Superb quality and was easily fitted by my garage. They remarked on the quality of the product and how well it fitted.I have been reading the reviews and I am glad I didn't read them before I bought the system. The noise is awesome, but I understand that it will get quieter, that is a pity but for the moment I am grinning!!Once again super fast delivery and very well packaged.I am one very happy MX 5 owner and it nows sounds like the proper sports car it is.I am not ashamed to be called a Petrolhead and I am 66 years old. Many thanks.

Fantastic customer service and response, quick delivery, well packaged and as described. Bolts on with flanges, took just under 30 minutes to fit using ramps.Sounds fantastic. Very sporty sound, and to those who said it was too loud; why'd you buy a sports exhaust? At low revs i can creep out at 5-6 o clock in the morning without any neighbours noticing, yet it still sounds fantastic with the roof down. 5*

I have left it a while to write this review as I think it needs to be tested on the vehicle for a few thousand miles. The good points; Great quality and delivery was superb. The system was relatively easy to fit . Mine being a later model with longer cat meant shortening the main pipe to fit but this was not really a great issue. It is quite noisy but I personally like it .It pops & gurgles on the over run which is sounds great. The big downside for me was the noise that appeared after about 9 months / 2500 miles-sounds like the baffles in the back box are loose which is getting quite annoying now and has been noted by a few potential purchasers as I am in the process of selling the vehicle. I have also noted that some other reviews have mentioned this so its obviously a manufacturing fault. I would guess I have no chance of a relacement/refund as I have had to modify the straight pipe to fit (even though I havn't touched the dual exit back box thats at fault)????
