We are pleased to now offer the ledgendary WestCo sealed battery for the MX 5 (and Eunos). This battery is superior to the original Panasonic unit. It uses the very latest absorbed glass mat technology, this advanced battery has no free liquid electrolyte - unlike the Panasonic "wet gel" battery. “I didn't know the age of the old battery fitted to my 5' but after a few years of sterling service she died on me at an awkward moment.Ordered a Westco , which was delivered with great speed,fitted it and was amazed at the difference to everything about the car.This battery could probably start a Vulcan bomber ( so if you have one , get one of these !!! )”

“Excellent service yet again.Minor gripe that I had to alter the breather pipe to fit but luckily enough I had a couple of aquarium 'T' pieces etc so it wasn't too much of a problem.Connected up, hey presto 12v+ and the car starts first time again with a bit more gusto.Mind you, my old battery was 8 years old!”

“First Class Battery, slightly smaller than the original Panasonic battery fitted to my 1995 MX5, so needed to put a timber spacer in the plastic tray to ensure a snug fit. The over the top clamp was also slightly obstructed by plastic mouldings on the top of the battery, but no real problem. The breather tubes fitted fine and the car starts first time every time (4 weeks running).”

“Yet again, excellent service, brilliant ordering/delivery system, cannot fault.Battery fitted in less than ten minutes but then spent another ten 'modifying the vent pipe as original Panasonic had side vents and the WestCo has two vents on the 'front'. Luckily I had some small aquarium type 'T' pieces and with the help of a pair of scissors, soon got the pipe to fit.The battery, well it has 12volts in it and when I turn the ignition, my car gets the 12volts. Sorted!!_LoL_”
