Ordered late Saturday evening, arrived Tuesday at 1100. Great service again. not used the site for a couple of years but it is just as good as before, if not better. Right, driveled on enough.Battery fitted in a few minutes, slightly smaller than the Panasonic one. Fitted well enough, posts the correct size etc. Just had to alter the vent pipe a little but nothing difficult. Even WITHOUT my glasses!!!_lol_Turned the key, wallop, all well and good. Fired up straight away.Yet again, great product, great service no nail biting episodes. Now then what's this in the other box, Mmmm...................Eibach Sports Springs!! Where's my spanners?

Very good item. It fits perfectly in the place of the original. On my '99 mk2 I had to switch the rubber tube parts because the inlets in the new battery are in different positions, but it is very easy to do (no tools needed). You only need to switch the two tubes (the long one and medium one) at the plastic 'tee'. No problems with the cables. Everything fits well.p.s. I had to say goodbye to the original Panasonic battery after 10 years (what a battery anyway...)

Battery took all of three minutes to fit , all i had to do was remove the vent pipes and re arrange the tee piece to fit the new position of the vents on the new battery very easy job . The battery is about 10m taller than original but fits on the battery tray not a problem. As usual great service from MX 5 Parts . Car fires up instantly a lot more powerfull than the original Panasonic battery .

When the original battery on my MX5 was showing signs of giving up the ghost I decided to replace it. A trip to Halfords proved a complete waste of time despite their claims to have a replacement in stock. After spending an hour at the nearest branch they eventually admitted that they had nothing suitable having wiped out the memories of the radio and trip computer. As the MX5 Parts shop is only 5 miles from my home I decided to pay them a visit. The showroom is absolutely immaculate and I dealt with a most helpful salesman. I purchased both a battery and a grille to protect the radiator.Fitting the battery is not particularly straightforward. The footprint is different from the original battery and it did not fit particularly well. The anti-corrosion tubing has to be stretched to its limit to get it to fit. There appear to be limitations on the battery so I phoned the shop about these. Unfortunately I did not speak to the original salesman but to someone far less helpful. I asked about the use of jump leads should this be necessary and I was told that in no circumstances should they be used. When I asked what I should do if I found myself stranded 100 miles from home with a flat battery no useful information was forthcoming. I would mention that the original battery suffered this condition twice throughout its 9 year life and survived. The new battery certainly does what is expected of it. It costs about 70% of the price of a battery supplied by a Mazda dealer so if it lasts more than six years it will be good value.

I bought This battery cause the original one was feelling weak, and had a bit of trouble starting the car after some days in the garage! It was still the original Panasonic! This was super easy to fit, though a little taller than the original, but you have different holes on the car to adjust the clamp hight, so no worries! The battery seems to work fine, now only time will tell! I have to warn you though, the hoses that connect to the battery didn't reach the new battery, so I had to rearange them, which is nothing special, but u do have to change them! I have a mk2.5
