I'm already a fan of the 12 wk programme and have been following Matt's emails etc so I didn't find this guide much more than all that. It was like preaching to the converted. More suitable for someone who's not familiar with the other stuff.

Trucking on the bike. Good to read your messages about what I need to do what I need to do. Well done. Steve

At first the book seemed like it was gonna be filled with stuff I’ve already heard before and lots of cheesy cliches. But as I got to the section on how to crash less I started to get inspired. It wasn’t just one thing but I started to feel like a broken 47 year old Retired U.S. Army veteran can get out on the trails and improve. Thanks Matt for the awesome book.

Full of really useful tips, and explains the science behind these really well. Although I'm not quite 50 yet (but closer to 50 than 40!) I thought it would be good to get a headstart on this sort of thing. Am a big believer in mindset etc, so the first part was good to back up my beliefs here anyway, and the thw whole guide is great evidence-based practical info

This is not as extensive as the training plans or nutrition guide but provides a range of useful tips to consider as we age.

I am reading one tip per day so I can absorb it and work on that one tip for the day. Some of it are things I have done before with running years ago, but long forgotten. Thanks for making this guide and hoping it helps me get some ammo to keep my body and mind going forward!
