“Didn't realise quite how much I bleed until I got this, so that was quite horrifying in the first couple of days! But did explain a lot.For me, it's uncomfortable, but I do have trauma from when I tried to have a coil fitted (I'm sure those who have experienced this will know what I mean) but it's nowhere NEAR as uncomfortable as tampons. If you don't get discomfort from tampons, you won't even notice this, if you do get discomfort (like me) this is a fraction of that, to the point that most the time you don't even notice it as it blends in with the general discomfort that periods bring.Due to the discomfort, I can't get a different size, it's hard enough inserting this one, but I likely should get a larger one if I don't want it to leak. But for me, I'm doing this for sustainability so it means I use less of my reusable pads, which means less washing and less wastage compared to usual, so it works for what I want. But if you do have issues with trauma, discomfort, or cramping, and you don't want ANY leakage, that may not be realistic. But it will depend entirely on your natural shape/size internally, which may be hard to gauge until you try it. Just set yourself some realistic expectations :)”

“I am afraid the mooncup was not for me, I wanted to try as I have heard very good things and am not taking anything away from that, however, it was too big, didn't fit me correctly or comfortably and found it very awkward putting it in and taking it out. Whilst I had it in I could really feel it and gave me thrush from it rubbing :( Happy that my”

“I love my mooncup. No more worrying about whether to flush or bin your tampon at a friend's house or stressing over the fact that you've left the house without a spare tampon. If you haven't tried this yet, you really have to. It's a small change that makes such a big difference! Zero waste, cleaner and more comfortable periods”
