“This was a bit messy and I found it hard to position when I first got going. I’ve used it for 2 cycles now and I wouldn’t go back to tampons. I only wish I hadn’t trimmed the stem so much on mine!”

“I can't believe I waited so long to try this product. It is an absolute game changer! I have always struggled with tampons/pads due to very sensitive skin, the Mooncup means that I can have a period without my skin flaring up. I'm in my 30s and haven't had children, and use the Size B. Make sure to stock up on lube, which helps with insertion, and don't worry if you find it a bit tricky to use at first- it takes practice, but is worth it!”

“I was nervous at first trying something new and after the first day i was going to give up as i couldn’t get the hack of folding the cup etc.. but i came back on to the site and on to the help section and found alternative ways to fold for inserting and it is a game changer. So easy, its a money saver, comfortable to wear. I love it!”

“I bought my second mooncup after using my first one for almost 7 years. It has travelled with me around the world and has saved me so much time and money. It is my favourite thing recommended by a friend and I also recommend it to others now. I can't imagine going back to pads or tampons. When I have a heavy flow, I do like to use period underwear as a backup very occasionally. But most often than not, the cup has no spillage and I am even brave enough to wear my nice fancy underwear.”

“Didn't realise quite how much I bleed until I got this, so that was quite horrifying in the first couple of days! But did explain a lot.For me, it's uncomfortable, but I do have trauma from when I tried to have a coil fitted (I'm sure those who have experienced this will know what I mean) but it's nowhere NEAR as uncomfortable as tampons. If you don't get discomfort from tampons, you won't even notice this, if you do get discomfort (like me) this is a fraction of that, to the point that most the time you don't even notice it as it blends in with the general discomfort that periods bring.Due to the discomfort, I can't get a different size, it's hard enough inserting this one, but I likely should get a larger one if I don't want it to leak. But for me, I'm doing this for sustainability so it means I use less of my reusable pads, which means less washing and less wastage compared to usual, so it works for what I want. But if you do have issues with trauma, discomfort, or cramping, and you don't want ANY leakage, that may not be realistic. But it will depend entirely on your natural shape/size internally, which may be hard to gauge until you try it. Just set yourself some realistic expectations :)”
