About Mooncup:

Mooncup began with a clear goal: to give people a healthier, sustainable way to manage their periods.

Back in 2002, we launched the world’s first medical-grade silicone menstrual cup, pioneering a movement that put health and the planet first. We saw an industry where profit came before people, ingredients were hidden, and plastics reigned, so we challenged the status quo.

Now, we're on a mission to become the world’s biggest sustainable period care brand. We’ve just launched Mooncup period pads into Sainsbury’s, Boots, Holland & Barrett and Look Fantastic. We’re also partnering with workplaces, gyms and hotels (like Canva, Danone, Third Space, Gymshark and Claridge’s) to offer free period care in bathrooms.

We use only science-backed, body-safe ingredients because your period products should work with your body, not against it.

Absolutely love it. Never going back!

I had been thinking about getting a mooncup for a while and now wish I had years ago. It took a little bit to get used to, but I feel so much cleaner and good about doing my bit for the environment. Should have done this in my twenties and not waiting until I'm nearly hitting the menopause!

Fantastic. Wish I had got one sooner.

Wish I'd tried this years ago! Took me a while to get used to it but worth persisting.

I found it a bit awkward on my first attempt but I'll never look back now - using tampons seems so wasteful! I also prefer not having to worry about carrying any around with me. Easy to insert and I can't feel it at all. Definitely recommend

Took a bit of getting used to! It can be tricky to get in, but by month 3 I was hooked. I work in the trade where there aren't many toilets and nowhere to dispose of disposables easily. Yes, it can get a bit messy, but I'm even getting the hang of getting it out cleanly. It seems to hold more than my tampons ever did, meaning I can also last from beginning to end of shift without any problems.

I accidentally threw out my original mooncup. IThe thing’s a game changer, no way I’m living without it - so had to replace it. I gotta more mindful of my things!

I've been a mooncup user for 11 years now and it's honestly one of the best decisions I've ever made. It's saved me loads of money, saved so much waste, and on a more personal level has eased period pains to the point that they're non-existent and made that time of the month so much easier. If you are a new user, you might find it difficult or uncomfortable at first. I know when I first started I had trouble getting it into position properly and often had a bit of leaking but if there's one bit of advice I can give, it would be...persevere! Eventually, you will know your cup and your own body so well that using it will become second nature. I know cups aren't for everyone, but I would always recommend giving one a go as it could end up being an absolute godsend!
