About Mooncup:

Mooncup began with a clear goal: to give people a healthier, sustainable way to manage their periods.

Back in 2002, we launched the world’s first medical-grade silicone menstrual cup, pioneering a movement that put health and the planet first. We saw an industry where profit came before people, ingredients were hidden, and plastics reigned, so we challenged the status quo.

Now, we're on a mission to become the world’s biggest sustainable period care brand. We’ve just launched Mooncup period pads into Sainsbury’s, Boots, Holland & Barrett and Look Fantastic. We’re also partnering with workplaces, gyms and hotels (like Canva, Danone, Third Space, Gymshark and Claridge’s) to offer free period care in bathrooms.

We use only science-backed, body-safe ingredients because your period products should work with your body, not against it.

I love the idea of this, but no matter how much I try, i just can't get to grips with actually getting this in. Even folded up, it is huge to try and manouever. I feel I must be doing something wrong, which makes me sad! Will need to try another eco-concious form of period control

We’re sorry to hear you’ve been finding it difficult to insert and use your size A Mooncup menstrual cup, and can of course appreciate this being frustrating! It took a little bit of getting used to in terms of inserting and removing, but once you get the hang of it it's fine. It really is very comfortable. I stopped using tampons because of discomfort, and with the mooncup you don't feel anything. I like how eco-friendly it is.

Such an immediate convert of the Mooncup! As previous reviews state, it take a while to get used to and is quite ‘involved’. However, by the end of my first period I felt like I had nailed it. Will be recommending to EVERYONE!!

I work a very long shift with the NHSBT and it’s lovely to not have to worry about it during the day. I feel much cleaner using it and I’m sleeping better during my periods. All this and it helps the environment and money too. Brilliant idea.

The moon cup has been a life changer. Bit tricky at first but a breeze once you get the hang of it. Cheaper and much greener than tampons and no horrible chemicals inside you. Can’t recommend enough.

At the beginning of my period I find my flow is too heavy for the mooncup, I cannot use it without wearing a sanitary liner as I leak. If you are out all day or use toilets that do not have a sink inside to clean the cup, it is not so practical. You could have a spare but cleaning the cup in a shared sink does not feel so sanitary.
