The policy was easy to obtain, simple to understand and covered every eventuality. We did not have to use the policy but I was confident, having read extensive reviews that we would not have any issues.

The policy did what we needed - we did have a claim (first time we damaged a hire car!) and although it took a long time to sort out, we go there in the end. We didn't recover quite all our costs (and it took 4 months!) but it worked.

Easy to take out covered all the excesses on the car hire. To cover same with car hire company almost £400 rather than the £12 ish I paid for this policy.

Used a few times, made one claim a couple is years ago. Quite a bit of paperwork on a claim (make sure you keep everything, and hold onto all documents: The receipt for car hire photographs Car rental company accident report. Documentation from the car rental company confirming the amount you have been charged, certificates etc) Took about 6 weeks to process, and all good. Recommended

Policy met my needs. I did make a claim and this was reasonably well handled. Claims rely on sending pdf copies of documents so you need a scanner and you need to send several emails as the attachments are too large for one email.
