“I took out an annual policy with Carhireexcess.co.uk, which was very easy to do. Unfortunately I recently had to submit a claim after I was charged for some minor damage by a holiday hire car company. “Your staff were at all times helpful and made requests for information and provided responses on a timely basis. The requests for information required was understandably detailed but precise and the payment of the claim again handled on a timely basis. Because of the huge excesses required by European car hire operators you provide a very useful service.”

“I never had to make a claim so I hope in the event where I may have things would have been sorted out quickly. Easy to take out the policy though and it gave me peace of mind.”

“Did exactly what I needed it to. I had to make a claim which required a bit of back and forth and a bit of a wait for the money to come through (claim was over the busy Summer period). Money did come through however and I would use again.”

“Easy to purchase. Fortunately never needed to make a claim on the policy, even though I feel that the car hire company tried to set me up for repairs on damage already on the car. They tried to sell me full insurance for over 200 euros, and there was damage on the car NOT on the rental agreement. ALWAYS take video or photos of the car at collection, and as sometimes cars are in a dark area always carry a torch. DuPont leave home without this type of policy.”
