Oak 'D' Tin Whistle
Made with solid brass, the whistle is then triple nickel plated to give it a wonderful lustre. A great starter whistle, it has a bright tone that has a bit of an 'edge' in the upper register, and requires less air than many other inexpensive whistles.
Length: 11.6"

Good whistle.. Liked it much better than the Generation D I bought recently. Solid without being too heavy. Good value.

A fine beginner’s whistle It has a much nicer tone than the typical “toy whistles” you see in gift packs, so it’s perfect for someone who wants to try to learn without spending too much as the tone will not be discouraging! Also I can never say enough about how much I love McNeela’s service! Thank you as always for fueling my greatest passion!

Was surprised how good this whistle sounded. It is also quite sturdy without being heavy. There is a lot said about which whistles are best, but you can spend a lot of money. This is a very playable whistle, easy to get into the second octave. For most people, especially those starting out, this would be a good buy. It is plenty loud enough under normal useage ( unless you really want to deafen the neighbours and the cat)!

I am just learning how to play but love my new whistle. It has clear tones when I do it correctly. I had a very old one that did not produce clear tones and was discouraging. I now enjoy learning. I play the ukulele and a little piano so have a basic music background.
