Oak 'D' Tin Whistle
Made with solid brass, the whistle is then triple nickel plated to give it a wonderful lustre. A great starter whistle, it has a bright tone that has a bit of an 'edge' in the upper register, and requires less air than many other inexpensive whistles.
Length: 11.6"

Need a protective pouch for your whistles? We recommend this McNeela Tin Whistle Pouch.

Same as the Oak C Whistle.... Not a bad whistle but a bit breathy and a touch of a rasp in places... sometimes that's not a bad sound - depends on what you want. Not tunable without breaking what seems like a bonded joint between fipple and pipe. Doesn't compare to the superior Dixon tunable D Whistle in terms of tone in my opinion but that all depends what you're looking for.

Gift for my daughter I bout this penny whistle as a gift for my daughter who is almost 4. It is a good value for the quality, something she will be able to begin learning and use for years. She still hasn’t quite figured it out, but I can play it and she’s enthusiastic about learning!

Clarity The "Reed" doesn't have the best clarity. At first, I thought it was just me not getting accurate finger placement, but it's actually the whistle. But for that price, I don't really expect more. I'm not complaining.
