“Good product but no instructions on how to fit the tube to the fitting i.e. I believe it is critical to align the live side of the tube with the live terminal on the fitting or you blow the tube.”

“Slim, simple, compact, light, easy to fit and as bright as a fluorescent tube using twice the wattage. I put it up in half an hour. I did need to drill a hole in the end stop for the cable to enter. This was to avoid having to put it under the unit and in through the grommeted aperture which would have prevented it lying flush on the roof beam it was fitted to. Apart from that an excellent bit of kit.”

“LED battens are far simpler on the inside than fluorescent tube battens. No starter, no ballast and less wiring. They are light to lift and easy to fit. It's basically a holder for the LED tube with supply cable going into it. The only negative is that the rubber grommet where the supply enters the unit is very small to fit the cable in. It also stands proud of the back plate by 3-4mm so the batten doesn't lie exactly flush on a flat surface. Having said that, it would anyway because of the cable. Might be better if the end stop had a cable entry option.”

“Clean simple unit, would be better if had alternative cable entry points as this is often likely to be used to replace earlier fittings, Would also be better if it had , or could, attach a diffuser cover.”

“thought this was a bit flimsy, but when screwed to ceiling it did not seem to matter. Would have liked a diffuser to tidy up appearance.”
