“These T8 tubes do the job and are an easy replacement for older flourescent fittings. However they are physically much more delicate so great care must be taken when fitting. (Nothing like as strong as a flourescent tube) I see that there is a more robust version also available so unless you can be confident that the tube is well protected and out of the way of accidental contact that version may be worth the higher price.”
