“Not as bright as I'd hoped. Instructions not at all helpful, in fact no instructions at all for how to rewire for direct mains but various youtube videos sort that out. The free starter, which is not a starter at all seems to obviate rewiring but I have not had time to check the wasted energy as the ballast is still in play with this configuration. Overall a good product, let down by very bad instructions, including pointless diagrams and a help desk that says it's not qualified to help! No point asking an electrician as they will rarely alter and existing fitting - they're probably not allowed to!”
